Location: Galesburg, Illinois
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Illinois registered nurse (RN) license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), 2 years ICU experience, certifications in BLS and ACLS, and EKG interpretation skills
Preferred Qualifications: General ICU background experience with titration of vasopressors, ventilator management, insulin drips, and dealing with common ICU diagnoses such as sepsis, post-surgical bowel resections, and COPD
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights, with every other weekend currently, moving to every third weekend starting July 24th
Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to adhere to the local rate policies, call-off policies, and orientation hours. The unit manages vasopressors, paralytics, BiCarb, and insulin, with telemetry managed by dedicated techs. All patient rooms are camera-equipped and wired for sound for eICU monitoring. The hospitalist team is in-house 12 hours and e-ICU hospitalist from 7 PM to 7 AM. On-site or on-call pharmacists provide 24/7 medication support.
